Night night...

Lately Dailey has been obsessed with getting the towels out of the drawer in the kitchen & making a bed with them on the floor. Usually it is just for herself & it is pretty cute to watch her get all bundled in! :) Tonight she was in the kitchen making a little bed on the floor & she babbled something to me & I told her yes (scary that I agreed when I had no idea what she was talking about!) then she was off to her bedroom...I didn't know what she was doing so I followed her & she got all of her animals out of her bed (I admit, she sleeps with 4 or 5 of them each night!) then came out to 'tuck' them in bed. She was so cute when she was doing it!! She picked each one up & kissed them then layed them down, tucked them in & gave them all another kiss.

She was all tucked in for bed...on the kitchen floor!!

Night night animals...

Kisses for everyone!!

She has been so cute lately with the things that she has been saying & doing. Last night when I took her to bed I got her all tucked in & she told me "ove you" (love you) then she blew me a kiss before I shut her door. She is such a sweet little girl!!!

Pictures...

Taking pictures of Dailey is getting harder & harder these days. I can't get the button on the camera pushed without her running to look at the picture on the screen! We had a nice day last Friday so I tried to get some pictures of her playing outside but instead, this is what I ended up with...

See all my teeth?? :)

I wouldn't let her hold the camera & she was sad

She was coming towards the camera but I snapped a picture before she could get to me!

Grandpa's...

What is with my Grandpa's lately?? My Grandpa Del (mom's dad) was diagnosed with lung cancer & had a lung removed 3 weeks ago. He was in the hospital much longer than we expected but he finally got out Thursday afternoon & seems to be doing well. He is recovering at my Aunt Shellie's house in Sunnyside until he returns to his home in Cle Elum.
On Wednesday afternoon I got a call that my Grandpa Myrle (dad'd dad) had a stroke on his way to Portland. At that point they didn't know what the outcome was going to be, but it wasn't looking very good. My sister & I headed down, following my dad & Suzanne. We were all very nervous making the 4 hour drive because we didn't know what to expect when we got there. He has progressed greatly over the last few days. On Wednesday evening he was answering yes & no to all questions that people asked him, but the answers weren't matching the questions. As of yesterday, he was saying sentences & asking questions. He asked my grandma what day it was & he told the nurses to stop bugging him! At this point it looks like he will be the hospital for a few more days & then will be going to in a nursing home in Ellensburg for continued rehabilitation.
Please pray for both of their continued recovery!!!

Little sickly...

It has been over 6 weeks since everyone in our house has been free of sickness!! I thought that we were finally starting to get over everything when I got a call from Gemma yesterday saying that Dailey was wheezing when she breathes & she really didn't feel well. It was hard to know exactly what do to because I was in Yakima at work & she was in Ellensburg at daycare - not like I could just run over & take a look at her. Finally I asked Gemma if Dailey was her daughter if she would call the doctor & she said she probably would. Gemma is a wonderful mother of 3 kids so I totally trusted her judgement & called the doctor.

When the nurse first checked her out she told me she was really glad I brought her in right away then she left the room...I sat there thinking 'What does that mean?? What is wrong with my baby???" They did a few tests on her, listened to her lungs, checked her oxygen level (it was low), looked at her throat & her ears then the doctor told me she has 2 ear infections & bronchitis - I couldn't believe it! A month ago she had the flu for a week, she got better for a few days then she got pink eye, she got over that & has had allery symptoms for the last few weeks, but we all have so I didn't think much of it. They sent me home with a nebulizer & 2 perscriptions for her. The breathing treatments are a little tricky because she wants to hold the nebulizer by herself & she doesn't want to sit still for the whole 10 minutes. We are doing them every 4 hours & it seems to be helping. Justin got up in the night & held the nebulizer by her mouth while she was sleeping & I think that has really helped her today. When she got up she was breathing good & wasn't wheezy at all. We will continue the nebulizer through the weekend & hopefully we will all be well by Sunday so we can watch Travis race!!

Here is a picture of her trying to do her own breathing treatment...it didn't quite work out as she planned so I helped her the rest of the time.

New mower...

Yesterday Justin went to town & when he came back he was in the big tow truck, with the tractor & a brand new lawn mower on the back. Dailey looked out the window & ran to the door to go outside to see what he was doing. She goes crazy over that truck, the tractor & mowers!! I told her that she had to put on clothes before she could go outside because she was wearing her swimming suit (...it's all she wanted to wear). So she ran her chubby little legs to her room & starts tearing through her closet to get clothes to put on. I got her dressed & told her that now we could go outside to see Daddy, but when we got to the front door he was pulling out the driveway. She stood at the door and cried so hard :( She was sobbing & saying "Dad, dad, dad..." I felt terrible for her but I knew she would be back soon so I made her lunch & sat her down in her chair to eat. Everything was fine until she looked outside & saw that he had parked his new mower on the back porch. She got all excited & started yelling "Side, Ma, side!" Which means that she wants to go outside. I convinced her to eat her lunch then she could go outside. As soon as she was done Justin got home & I told him that he had to take her for a ride on the mower because her world had just came crashing down when she saw him pulling out of the driveway. He couldn't wait to ride it either so he loaded her up & off they went...

Crazy Uncles...

Logan & Landon stayed with us on Friday night. Logan is COMPLETELY obsessed with his new computer game (the only one he has...) so he insisted on bringing their laptop & playing it. It kept all 3 kids entertained for hours. I admit, I let them play for way too long, but it was quiet & there was no fighting. As you can see in the pictures, the only person that Dailey wanted was Landon. He was a good sport about it but I could tell he was tired of packing her around by the time they went home on Saturday. When he got tired of carrying her places (she is almost 1/2 the size of him!) he put her in the laundry basket & pushed her around. She laughed the whole time & thought Landon was the best! I should have got a picture of them but I was scrubbing the bathrooms & I only saw them as they flew by the bathroom door. Here are some pictures of them...

Daddy's Boots...

Dailey is always trying to put on our shoes & walk around. She doesn't have a hard time getting mine on but she struggles with Justin's because they are so big & so heavy. The other night she got Justin's on, but she couldn't move from this position...
