In the month of May we...

Enjoyed the first ice cream cone of the season...

Watched this cute bum go in & out of the pool on warm days...Spent time on our boat with great friends...Watched Dailey play for hours on the tube, do you think she will appreciate this picture when she is 15?

Gave Skylee her first & last bath in the sink in the camper. I don't think I'll be able to squeeze her little chubby bum into it again!

Went to the Pacific Science Center & I had to convince Dailey that the butterflies in the butterfly exhibit were not going to hurt her, even if they landed on her. She wasn't going for it though!
Dressed up like 'pirates' at Auntie's house...

Played until we were hot, sweaty & red in the face at the park...
Watched Skylee discover her love of being outside...

...and her love of eating grass, sticks, rocks...

...and even sand!
Were VERY happy to have a little girl that finally decided to start sleeping through the night!!
Retired the Bumbo chair & moved Skylee to the highchair..And got out the fingerpaints...

Relay for Life...

Relay for Life is always such a fun & emotional night for our family. As most of you know, Justin is a survivor, but we have many family members & friends that we Relay for also.

Each year I'm at a loss for words during the Survivor Lap, it's amazing to me. It's incredible to know that each person walking has had to fight so hard to be there. This year Justin walked along with Don, his uncle. Don is currently going through treatment & is winning his battle! Watching them walk together definately makes me realize how lucky I am. The last 2 years Justin has pushed Dailey in the stroller, but this year Dailey (for the most part) walked between Justin & Don. I hope one day she realizes just how lucky she is to be able to walk that lap with her Daddy, because I know how lucky he feels to have her walking with him.
